It's Finally Spring!

We have been loving this spring weather the past couple of days.

Clae found a favorite spot to play in the dirt. He loves to dig with his diggers and loader tractors. When I told him it was time to come in for a bath his response was, "why? I'm not dirty!"

Wheels

A picture of Brandon and his new wheels for those of you not on carepages (if you are on carepages you've all ready seen this picture b/c that's where I stole it from!) I've talked about Brandon several times but never posted a picture.

A Visit from Aunt Carly

Yesterday Aunt Carly came home for the first time in FIVE weeks. She hasn't left Brandon's side since the accident, but she had some people suggest to her that it might be a good idea to go home and have a little bit of time for herself. It's good for Brandon to get used to doing things on his own because she won't be able to be there with him all the time once they get home.

She came to my house, we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Moyer, had lunch with Grandma Bentzinger at Riverbend, and then went to her house and spent the rest of the day. She left in the evening because neither of them were ready to be away from each other overnight.

She did very well, I was keeping my eye on her for signs of a meltdown, but I think she has had enough time to absorb everything that has happened and she didn't have much trouble. She did get a little nervous being at Riverbend mostly because there were a lot of people with a lot of questions for her, but she handled it all very well.

Manicures

A few weeks a go I painted Lydia's and my nails. It's so fun to have a little girl to do girlie things with, and she loves every minute of it.



The quality if this picture isn't very good for some reason, but I still think it's so cute of her showing off her piddy piddy's.

Overwhelmed

It has been a while since my last update, mainly because I just can't seem to keep up with life right now. I don't recall a time since Kirby and I have been married when life has been quite this overwhelming. Kirby's is extremely busy with work right now. We are trying to get Carly and Brandon's bathroom totally remodeled before they come home. A little over a month ago I started a daycare in my home, so almost every day of the week I have at least one extra child in my home. So, posting on the blog has been put on the back burner for a while. I know I haven't posted pictures of the kids forever, but I will try to get that done very soon.
